Bio

God is one of the veterans of the CIS pro scene, who switched from DotA to Dota 2 on the eve of The International 2011. Sergey has been playing as a midranger for almost his entire career, and only recently became a sapport. His biggest achievement can be considered 5-6th place at The International 2015.

Born and raised God in St. Petersburg, he started playing his first Dota in 2008, and in 2010 he started to play professionally. He started his career in PGG The Retry team, spent some time in DTS, and then joined Moscow Five. It was in the latter team that Sergey made it to The International 2011 and took 5th-6th place there, after which he finally moved to Dota 2. He didn't work with this team for a long time and in spring 2012 he moved to Darer, where ArtStyle, Dread and NS played.

Sergey played in Vega Squadron, Gambit Esports and Team Spirit, occasionally attending major tournaments such as ESL One Birmingham 2018 and China Dota2 Supermajor as a member of the latter. He then became part of EXTREMUM, after which he played for AS Monaco Gambit and coached CIS Rejects.

In 2022, God began his coaching career, with Virtus Pro being the first team under his leadership. During this time, the team's most notable achievement was finishing 7th-8th at The International 2023.

On March 29, Aurora Gaming announced its partnership with Sergey and introduced him as the coach of its Dota 2 roster.

In May, Aurora Gaming participated in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the Playoff quarterfinals and exited the tournament in 5th–6th place. After that, the team competed at DreamLeague Season 26, finishing in 4th place.

On June 8, 2025, Aurora Gaming qualified for The International 2025 by winning the Eastern Europe Closed Qualifier.

On June 27, 2025, the team was eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 5, after losing in the first round of the playoffs.

On July 4, 2025, Aurora Gaming lost to PARIVISION in the lower bracket final of the FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 playoffs, thereby ending their tournament run and finishing in 3rd place.

On August 23, Aurora Gaming competed at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, but lost in their first lower bracket playoff match and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place.

In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 12th place. In October, Aurora participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, where they lost in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the playoffs and left the tournament. On FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, the team did not advance to the main stage of the championship at all. At BLAST SLAM IV, the team finished in 5th-6th place. At DreamLeague Season 27, Aurora finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 2-4.

At the first tournament of 2026, FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, Aurora Gaming became champions after defeating Team Spirit in the grand final.

In early March, he became part of the Team Shpilit media team, where within a month of competition he placed 7-8 at CCT Season 2 Series 8, finished in the top 3 at Streamers League Season 1, and also participated in PREMIER SERIES: Play-In.

At the end of March, team captain Alexey Solo Berezin announced that the project would be put on hold.
