SabeRLight- is a professional Dota 2 player from Czech Republic who has played for Hippomaniacs, Team Singularity, Ninjas in Pyjamas and TSM. One of Jonas' career highlights so far is his 2nd place finish at the DOTA Summit 11 tournament. In June 2020, he reached the 10,000 MMR points mark.
SabeRLight- started his career at the age of 16. One of his first teams was Hippomaniacs, where he played for 2 seasons. In 2018, Jonas' team failed to make it to the closed qualifications for major tournaments and won only in the open ones. The main achievement during this period was the 2nd place at joinDOTA League Season 14 Europe, which brought the players a prize money of $1,250. In 2019, SabeRLight- and his team made significant progress and made it to the LAN tournament at World Cyber Games 2019 for the first time, where they took 4th place and received a $5k prize. After an unsuccessful attempt to make it to The International 2019, Jonas left his team to gain new experience and develop his skills.
After failures in Team Singularity at the qualifications for DreamLeague Season 12 and MDL Chengdu Major, SabeRLight- moved to North America. There, he made a temporary appearance for Quincy Crew and placed 9th/10th at ESL One Hamburg 2019, before becoming a substitute with Chaos Esports Club and finishing 2nd at DOTA Summit 11 for $60k in prize money.
In November 2019, Jonas joined the SoNNeikO Chicken Fighters team, where Charlie, Supream and MiLAN, who was later replaced by Era, also played. The guys won the Arena of Blood tournament and then made it to ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online where they placed 4th. After they won at WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1 and Spring Championship, SabeRLight- and his team were signed by Ninjas in Pyjamas, but after six months Jonas left the roster and did not play in the professional scene for several months. However, in 2021 SabeRLight- became a member of Team Undying, which showed good results during the year and attracted the attention of a large organization TSM. Jonas spent the whole 2022 in TSM. Together with American team SabeRLight- he took second place at ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 and 5-6 at PGL Arlington Major 2022.
At the beginning of 2023 Jonas will make his debut in Shopify Rebellion. In the new team, the player showed decent results, finishing 4th at Lima Major 2023, 3rd at DreamLeague Season 19 and 2nd at DreamLeague Season 21. Also, the team placed sixteenth at The International 2023. And 2024 started with a lot of qualifying tournaments, but the team was not able to qualify for all of them. SabeRLight- made appearances at DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham 2024, PGL Wallachia: Season #1 and DreamLeague Season 23, but the results were unsatisfactory.
- May 25, 2024 - Shopify Rebellion moved SabeRLighT- to the reserves.
It was revealed a bit later that the probable reason for SabeRLighT's transfer to SR reserve was the player's conflict with Artour Arteezy Babaev.
In June 2024, SabeRLighT, Gorgc and Saksa assembled a team to qualify for The International 2024 - Team Bald Reborn, but failed to advance beyond the closed stage.
- July 22, 2024 - SabeRLighT- returned to Shopify Rebellion.
During the same period, Arteezy decided to take a break from the professional scene, and Jonas appeared with the team at Elite League Season 2, finishing in seventh place.
- September 27, 2024 - SabeRLighT joined Team Liquid.
With the new team Jonas competed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, but only finished 8th. At DreamLeague Season 24, Liquid finished in 6th place.
The team was later able to qualify for ESL One Bangkok 2024 and won at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall. After that, Liquid competed at BLAST SLAM I, finishing in the top 6. In December, the team participated in a tournament in Bangkok, where they placed 2nd.
