Zai has joined Tundra Esports ahead of DreamLeague Season 22

One of the most successful cybersports players in the world, Ludwig zai Wahlberg, has joined Tundra Esports as a general manager. The former professional player announced this in a video for the organization's YouTube channel. The club officially announced the event on social media.

Ludwig shared a comment:

"This is a completely different role for me. I've been a player all my life, so this will be something completely new for me. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I found this position interesting. I was not interested in returning to the role of a player or coach. But to return to a slightly different position with different responsibilities is new to me, it's a challenge for me."

This is zai's first managerial position in his career. From 2018 to 2021, Wahlberg played for Team Secret, and together with the team, he showed excellent results, taking third place at The International 2021. From 2021 to 2023, Ludwig officially played for Team Liquid, but in the fall of 2023, he left the roster and suspended his cybersports career after the team took 6th place at The International 2023. The athlete was also a member of such well-known teams as Evil Genius and OpTic Gaming. Throughout his career on the professional stage, he has earned more than four million dollars in prize money.

He will make his debut in the new position at DreamLeague Season 22, which will start on February 25. Together with his team Tundra Esports, Ludwig will play at the upcoming championship. Team Spirit will be the first opponent for Tundra.
