Tundra Esports became the champion of DreamLeague Season 28
In the grand final of DreamLeague Season 28, Tundra Esports defeated Aurora Gaming with a 3:1 score to become the tournament champions. Aurora finished in second place, earning $130,000 in prize money.
On the first map, Matthew Whitemon Filemon's squad dominated from the start, applying pressure on all lanes. Their strong opening allowed them to control most of the opponent’s territory and accumulate more gold. When their advantage exceeded 40,000 gold, Aurora could no longer resist, and the team took the lead in the series.
The second map was very easy for Tundra. In 28 minutes, they secured 28 kills, while the opponents managed only 6. The third map was the complete opposite, with Aurora making 37 kills and holding an advantage of over 30,000 gold.
The fourth map was decisive. Despite a solid start from Raflay Mikoto Fatur’s squad and an active hero pick, the team could not maintain their advantage. After the 35th minute, carry Muerta played by Ivan Pure Moskalenko and Tinker from Bozhidar Bzm Bogdanov took over, finishing the game in their team’s favor.
It is worth noting that in the past three months, this trophy became the third for Tundra. Their previous two championships were won at BLAST SLAM IV and BLAST SLAM V.
