The organizers of the Esports World Cup, held annually in Saudi Arabia, have announced the list of teams that have joined the club support program for 2025. This year, the number of participants has increased to 40.

Eight organizations received invitations based on their high results in Esports World Cup 2024, while the remaining teams went through a rigorous selection process, even if they were part of last year’s program. A total of 200 applications were reviewed.

As part of the new program lineup, 19 organizations became members, including Team Spirit, MOUZ and HEROIC. Meanwhile, nine teams that participated in the initiative in 2024 failed to pass the selection, including OG, LGD Gaming and Tundra Esports.

The Esports World Cup Foundation program aims to develop esports by supporting clubs in expanding rosters across different disciplines and regions. In 2025, the organizers allocated $20,000,000 for promotion through brands and marketing campaigns. Each individual club can receive up to $1,000,000 as part of this initiative.

Earlier, Cyberscore reported that the winner of the Chinese LAN tournament would receive an invite to the Esports World Cup 2025 championship.
