How much did PARIVISION pay for Satanic: what is known about the deal's value

On September 28, the esports organization PARIVISION announced the completion of the transfer of Alan Satanic Galyamov from Team Spirit. The amount of the deal was not disclosed, but various estimates of its value have emerged within the Dota 2 community.

Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov explained why Satanic joined PARIVISION on a permanent basis after nearly two years on loan. The loan agreement ended after TI15, and there were many teams interested in signing Galyamov. Additionally, the player’s wishes were taken into account during the deal.

BetBoom Team manager Luka Lukawa Nasuashvili called the transfer a record-breaking one but did not disclose any details. Analyst and former esports coach Timur Ahilles Kulmukhambetov made an estimate of the exact amount. He believes that the sale of Satanic is equivalent to a Tier 1.5 roster. According to him, this amounts to $750,000–$1.2 million.

Caster Vladimir Maelstorm Kuzminov shared his opinion on another estimated figure — $500,000. He noted that more expensive transfers have taken place in the Chinese region and, compared to CS2, called the deal “peanuts”.

The Satanic transfer is also frequently compared to a deal that was long considered a record-breaker: the acquisition of Vladimir RodjER Nikoghosyan by Virtus.pro from Natus Vincere for $150,000. Korb3n revealed details of the contract between NAVI and VP. In his opinion, this transfer was mistakenly considered the largest for a long time, since the deal actually included a payment of $75,000, as well as the transfer of Ilya Lil Ilyuk. Belov also stated that the alleged amount of $150,000 was not the largest either.

By way of comparison, Korb3n cited the recent sale of the Tundra Esports roster to 1WIN Team. He suggested dividing the transfer fee among the five players on the roster to assess the current market realities for Tier 1 players. The amount of the deal between Tundra and 1WIN has not been officially disclosed, but according to Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev, the roster cost nearly $2 million.
