Rumor: Crystallis may end gis eight-year Dota 2 career

Dutch carry Remco Crystallis Arets may end his Dota 2 career after eight years on the competitive scene. Insider Baurzhan lilskrip Bisembayev reported this on his Telegram channel.

However, lilskrip did not specify what his information about the player's possible retirement was based on. At the time of publication, player had also not commented on the rumors.

Arets began his professional career in 2018 and achieved his biggest success with Team Secret. At The International 2022, the team reached the grand final, where it lost 0:3 to Tundra Esports and finished second. The carry last competed at EPL Masters I on August 11, 2026, and has not played an official match since.

The last team the Dutch player represented was MOUZ. He joined the team on loan on September 20, 2025. During his time with the club, the carry won PGL Wallachia Season 6 and finished 3rd–4th at BLAST Slam V.

Over the past year, Crystallis played 329 maps and won 172 of them. His win rate during this period was 52%, with an average KDA of 6.78, GPM of 655, and XPM of 760. His most-played heroes were Dragon Knight, Juggernaut, and Troll Warlord, with 44, 37, and 34 matches respectively.

Earlier, CyberScore reported that Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev said he could return to the professional scene in spring 2027.
