Best Huskar on the pro scene: Niku from NAVI sets a new record

Artem Niku Bachkur became the first player on the professional Dota 2 scene to secure 15 consecutive wins on Huskar. The Natus Vincere midlaner reached the record mark during the playoffs of PGL Wallachia Season 9.

Bachkur set the record in a lower bracket match against Xtreme Gaming, where he played Huskar. NaVi won the map in 42 minutes with a 21:11 kill score, while the player's KDA was 6-2-2.

Niku's winning streak on Huskar has been going since 2025. The midlaner's last loss on the hero came during CCT Dota 2 Series 7. Bachkur has played 32 matches on the hero throughout his career, winning 26 of them, with an overall win rate of 81.25%.

At the same time, Artem mainly uses the hero as a situational pick. The Ukrainian most often chooses him against melee heroes in the mid lane, particularly against Ember Spirit, Pangolier, and Tiny, allowing him to put pressure on his opponent from the early stages of the game.

Among other professional players, Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko from PARIVISION and Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak, who previously played for Team Falcons, also have strong statistics on the hero. The former has won 81.25% of his 16 matches, while the latter has won 71.11% of 45. However, their winning streaks consist of only a few games and are significantly shorter than Niku's.
