The International 12: The prize pool distribution is known

Prize pool distribution of The International 12 has been revealed - the winner will earn a little over $1,300,000. It should be noted that the prize pool is replenished every day depending on the sales of the new Compendium, so the amounts may change at the end of the tournament. 

PSG Quest, Keyd Stars, Thunder Awaken and beastcoast were the first to finish first at The International 12. These teams were the weakest in their groups and will earn at least $30,000. 

The prize pool distribution for The International 12 (currently $3,049,044, with the percentage of total fees in parentheses):

  • 1st place: $1,372,193 (45%);
  • 2nd place: $365,864 (12%);
  • 3rd place: $243,977 (8%);
  • 4th place: $167,671 (5.5%);
  • 5th-6th place: $99,147 (3.25%);
  • 7th-8th place: $76,205 (2.5%);
  • 9th-12th place: $60,944 (2%);
  • 13-16th place: $45,784 (1.5%);
  • 17th-20th place: $30,522 (1%).

As Cyberscore reported earlier, Johan n0tail Sundstein named the favorites of The International 12.
