OG and PARIVISION eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 6
The first series of the day were elimination matches: MOUZ faced OG Esports, while BetBoom Team played against PARIVISION. Winners advanced to the semifinals, and the losing teams finished their run at PGL Wallachia Season 6,, placing 5th–6th and earning $60,000.
OG’s new roster showed a strong start, advancing from the group stage with only one loss, but the Southeast Asian squad couldn’t overcome MOUZ and fell with 0:2 score.
It’s worth noting that this roster had previously faced MOUZ at BLAST SLAM IV, back when the players competed under the Team Aureus tag, before being signed by OG. Back then, MOUZ were the ones who knocked them out and now the story repeated itself in the Playoff stage.
On the second map, MOUZ midlaner Zheng MidOne Yeik Nai delivered an outstanding performance on Leshrac, pressuring the opponents aggressively across the entire map. He finished the game with 19 kills, 16 assists, and only 5 deaths, despite not having a Black King Bar until the 40-minute mark.
PARIVISION dropped to the lower bracket after yesterday’s loss to Team Spirit and faced BetBoom Team. Historically, PARIVISION almost always held the lead in direct matchups, with BB Team winning only two series. However, this time the outcome was different - PARI lost with score 1:2 and ended their tournament run in 5th–6th place.
The first map was a complete disaster for the team: Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko’s squad managed to secure only three kills in 36 minutes. PARIVISION tried an experimental draft with Centaur Warrunner mid and Slardar as position four for Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, known for his unconventional hero pool.
On the second map, PARIVISION regrouped and destroyed the enemy throne in 25 minutes, tying the score. But in the decisive third game BetBoom Team controlled the match from start to finish, allowing PARI no more than ten kills in 47 minutes.
