Miposhka commented on Team Spirit's loss to Virtus.pro at the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational

Captain Team Spirit Yaroslav Miposhka Naidyonov commented on his team's defeat to Virtus.pro today. Recall that today in the group stage of the tournament Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational Spirit lost to VP with a score of 2:1.

Yaroslav admitted that Team Spirit's lineup did not press the opponent when the team had a significant advantage. 

We played against Virtus.pro. Unfortunately, we lost 1:2. Well, what can I say: the games were tough, long, close, sweaty—I don't know. I'm a bit tired, to be honest. In general, there's not much to say. Anyway, we tried, but somewhere we didn't press enough—we felt the advantage, but lacked proper understanding of how to play better and pressure them.

Also TS made several mistakes when entering Virtus.pro's high ground, which prolonged the game significantly, and the Bears' draft was better suited for the late game, summarized Miposhka.

Plus, we made a couple of mistakes when entering the HG, really hard. And the enemy had good heroes to play in the late game, push lanes, and all that.

The decisive map of the series lasted 60 minutes, after several comebacks from both Virtus.pro and Team Spirit, VP managed to gain an advantage of 32,000 gold and break Naidyonov's team's base. This was Spirit's first defeat at the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational.

Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational is taking place in China from July 28 to August 4. 10 teams are participating in the tournament. The event's prize pool is $500,000.
