"I am very sorry that I will not be able to represent my country", — Wisper on missing Esports Nations Cup 2026
Offlaner Adrián Cespedes Wisper Dobles commented on his absence from Bolivia's roster for Esports Nations Cup 2026. The player stated that he faced several issues over the past few months that prevented him from confirming his participation in the tournament on time.
According to him, the situation surrounding the Bolivian national team remained uncertain for a long period of time.
I was first contacted back in January through Michael, but at the time I was not entirely sure how the tournament would be organized or how far the process had progressed. Because of that, I decided to wait until there was more clarity before making a final decision.
In addition, the player was focused on competing with HEROIC. After the organization left Dota 2 and the roster was disbanded, he had to focus on resolving questions regarding his future career.
The roster later stayed together and was signed by LGD Gaming ahead of BLAST SLAM VII, where the team finished in second place.

Additional complications were caused by the player's health condition. Because of this, he missed DreamLeague Season 29 and was unable to fully focus on the possibility of representing the national team.
Once the situation improved, Wisper attempted to revisit discussions about playing for Bolivia. However, by that point the roster selection process was already in its final stages. Despite efforts to find a solution, he was not included in the final lineup.
In his statement, Dobles apologized to fans who had hoped to see him at the tournament and said he understood their disappointment. The player also admitted that he could have addressed the matter of his participation sooner.
