“Scofield and KJ wanted to kick each other,” — former Heroic player

Professional player Farith Matthew Puente shared details about the removal of Elvis Scofield Peña from Heroic’s main roster at the end of 2025. The esports player’s quote was published by journalist Pancho Justo on X.

As far as I know, Scofield and KJ wanted to kick each other. They allegedly brought the issue up for discussion, but Wisper did not want KJ to be kicked.

According to Matthew, the internal conflict was discussed even before the team’s last tournament, DreamLeague Season 27.

Scofield was supposed to be removed after the previous tournament, but that did not happen because Wisper was against it. A condition was set: if the team performed poorly, he would be removed. They performed terribly at the tournament, after which the issue was brought up again and the decision was made by a majority vote.

Recall that Elvis Scofield Peña played for Heroic from January 2024. With him, the team won PGL Wallachia: Season 2 and FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, and also finished top 6 at The International 2025. However, at the team’s final tournament of the year, DreamLeague Season 27, Heroic placed 17th-21st, which became the worst result for the roster over the past two years.

At the moment, Heroic’s roster has changed, with a new support and a new midlaner joining the team. Farith Matthew Puente is currently part of the Peruvian stack Looking for Org, while Scofield has moved to Peru Rejects.

Notably, Peru Rejects defeated Heroic twice in the finals of the closed qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2026 and DreamLeague Season 28, securing the only slots to those tournaments from their region.
