Bio
Elvis Scofield De la Cruz Peña is a Peruvian professional Dota 2 player who competes in the fourth position. In 2020, he became the first South American cyber athlete to reach the 10,000 MMR mark.
Scofield began his professional journey in 2015. For two years, the Peruvian tried to unlock his potential in various South American teams, the list of which included Not Today, Artyk Gaming, Slayers of Gods, Infamous.Black, Union Gaming, Mad Kings and Infamous.Young. Elvis did not stay in each of the teams for long and could not achieve significant results.
The first success caught up with Scofield in the Infamous organization, which he joined in September 2017. Almost immediately, the player significantly strengthened the roster, which allowed him to qualify for international tournaments: 7-8th place at PGL Open Bucharest, DreamLeague Season 8 and Galaxy Battles II: Emerging Worlds, 5-9th place at MDL Macau and 3-4th place at GESC: Indonesia Dota2 Minor. Elvis declared himself as a good performer in the fourth position.
In April 2018, Scofield joined the Thunder Awaken team, with which he tried to qualify for Tier-1 tournaments, but the player failed to achieve achievements in this team, which became the reason for his return to Infamous. The Peruvian returned on the eve of Dreamleague Season 10, following the results of which the team took a respectable fourth place. Having played in several tournaments under the tag, Scofield decided to help the rosters of his close acquaintances, Team Odd and Demolition Boys. In April 2019, Elvis returned to Thunder Awaken, where he again performed poorly at local tournaments, but before the start of The International 2019 he was invited to Infamous, where he met Hector K1 Antonio Rodriguez and Adrian Wisper Cespedes Dobles. At the main tournament of the year, the team took 7th-8th place, confidently competing against the grands of World Dota.
After such an achievement, the players were signed by the newly born beastcoast organization, in which Scofield managed to participate in ESL One Hamburg 2019, MDL Chengdu Major, DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major, WePlay AniMajor, The International 2021, ESL One Stockholm 2022 and PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022.
The team also played at The International 2022 and 2023, but had an average result, and participated at Riyadh Masters 2023 and BetBoom Dacha 2023.
- January 4, 2024 - Scofield joined Heroic.
Together with the new team, the player tried to unsuccessfully qualify for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, and also appeared at DreamLeague Season 22, Elite League 2024, PGL Wallachia: Season #1, ESL One Birmingham 2024 and DreamLeague Season 23. In addition, the team successfully qualified for the Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024. At the Riyadh Masters, the boys finished in thirteenth place. They also finished tenth at Elite League Season 2, where they received a direct invitation earlier. In September, the guys went to TI13, but after the group stage fell to the lower bracket, where they were defeated by Aurora Gaming and left the championship.
In early October, the team went to PGL Wallachia Season 2, where they showed a great result, taking first place in the group. In the playoffs, the team advanced to the upper bracket final, where they were defeated by Team Falcons. Despite this, Heroic managed to take revenge against the Arab team in the grand final. It was the first time that the South American team became champions of such a major tournament and earned the first trophy for the region.
The next tournament for the team was DreamLeague Season 24, but Heroic was not so successful there and could not even get out of the group stage. At BLAST SLAM I Heroic also failed, placing 7-8th.
In February 2025, Scofield with Heroic placed 8th at FISSURE PLAYGROUND and DreamLeague Season 25. In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 3, but failed to advance past the group stage, as well as at PGL Wallachia Season 4.
In June 2025, Heroic qualified for The International 2025 and also secured a slot at Riyadh Masters 2025, through the South American qualifier. However, at PGL Wallachia Season 5, the team once again failed to advance to the playoffs. On FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, the team finished in the top 4.
In July 2025, Heroic ended their participation in Riyadh Masters 2025, finishing in 14th place and earning $50,000 in prize money.
In September, Heroic participated in The International 2025, reaching the playoffs but losing in the lower bracket and finishing in 5–6th place.
At the end of October, Heroic participated in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where they finished in 6th–8th place after losing in the first round of the Playoff stage. The team finished PGL Wallachia Season 6 with the same result.
In late December, Scofield left Heroic and joined Peru Rejects, whose roster was signed by paiN Gaming in February 2026.
The first tournament for the updated roster was CCT Season 2 Series 8, where the team became champions after defeating 1Win Team 3:0 in the grand final.
At the end of March, the team placed 11-12 at ESL One Birmingham 2026, failing to reach the playoff stage.
Due to unsatisfactory results in April, the organization decided to suspend its Dota division and disband the roster.
However, the players decided to stay together and continued under the South American Rejects tag. In early May, the entire roster was signed by the PlayTime organization.
