What is T1?

T1 is a term in Dota 2 usually used to refer to the first line of defensive towers for each team. Every team has three of these towers on their side of the map — one on each lane (top, mid, and bottom).
T1 towers play a key strategic role, as destroying them opens the way to the next tier towers (T2, T3) of the enemy. It also gives the team an advantage and access to crucial areas of the map, such as the enemy jungle or the safer zone near Roshan. T1 towers are often the first objectives to be attacked in the early game.

In addition, T1 is the name of a well-known esports organization from South Korea, sponsored by the telecommunications company SK Telecom. T1 is represented in various disciplines, including Dota 2 (in the past), League of Legends, Valorant, and others.
