Barathrum
Barathrum is the name of the Spirit Breaker in Dota 2. In Latin, “Barathrum” means “underworld”. Spirit Breaker has a number of fan-made/alternative names:
- Roadrunner, referring to his insane speed around the map.
- Space-cow (Space Cow) — a reference to Astral Trekker, who used the same unit model as Barathrum in the first Dota.
- Team Spirit Breaker — the character was temporarily renamed in the October 30, 2023 update to commemorate Team Spirit's victory at The International 2023, as this hero was often picked for Magomed Collapse Khalilov.
