Bio

Samuel Boxi Svan is a professional Dota 2 player from Sweden who plays the offlaner position. Signature heroes are considered to be: Tusk, Rubick, Clockwerk.

Samuel made his pro debut at the end of 2016 as part of the Evil Corporation team. The small mix achieved some success in regional tournaments, taking 5-6th place at ProDotA Cup Europe #14 and 3-4th place at Swift Forward Cup Winter 2017.

In November 2017, Boxi was able to join the new Alliance lineup formed by Loda. iNSaNiA became the captain of the updated team, with Taiga as Samuel's partner on the challenging lane. Already in April of the following year, Alliance took 1-2nd places in the qualifiers for major tournaments: China Dota2 Supermajor and ESL One Birmingham 2018. Three months later, a series of continuous victories followed in tier-3 tournaments, the most profitable of which were Rivalry.gg Rumble and Reshuffle Madness.

In 2019, Boxi's team performance looked much better, with Alliance taking 5-8th place at WePlay Winter Madness, winning the bronze medal at OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019, and winning DOTA Summit 10. The last challenge for Samuel in the Swedish team was The International 2019, which the team failed, not making it into the top 10 of the tournament winners. In September, the roster left the organization and went under the Team Liquid tag.

The same lineup remained intact, and Boxi continued to play with qojqva and miCKe. The new season was quite difficult for the team, with the players only able to boast of 2nd place at WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1 and 5-6th place at ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online. Team Liquid often had to face players from their past lineup, who played for Team Nigma. All these confrontations ended in favor of the latter. Team Nigma was able to knock out Team Liquid from tournaments 5 times in just six months.

After Taiga left the team and moved to OG, Samuel changed his playing position to Support. In his new role, Boxi placed 2nd at DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I and 3rd at The International 2022.
