Team Yandex became the champion of PGL Wallachia Season 7

In the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 7, Team Yandex defeated Team Liquid with a 3:2 score and became the champion of the tournament. Liquid finished in second place, earning $175,000 in prize money.

The first and second maps were completely under Yandex’s control, with all three of the team’s core players dying only once in each game.

However, they were unable to close the series quickly, and on the third map the Liquid showed excellent team play, building a 40,000 gold advantage. The game itself lasted more than 72 minutes.

The fourth map turned into a real disaster for Yandex. In 34 minutes of play, the squad of Martin Saksa Sazdov managed to secure only 1 kill against 23 from their opponents. As a result, the outcome of the series was decided on the final map, which became the eighth game of the day for Liquid.

Thanks to a tempo-oriented hero draft, the CIS team began to dominate from the very start of the game, and their advantage kept growing with every minute. After a successful fight at Roshan, they managed to destroy all of the opponent’s barracks and finish the match, becoming the champions of the tournament.

It should be noted that Team Yandex is playing at this tournament with a substitute, as Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko was unable to obtain a visa. He was temporarily replaced by Dmitry DM Dorokhin, who previously played for PARIVISION.
