MOUZ secure a slot at DreamLeague Season 28

The European team MOUZ became the first squad to qualify for DreamLeague Season 28. In the closed qualifiers, they defeated Natus Vincere in the first round and Team Falcons in the second.

The biggest surprise was the victory over Falcons, as they had almost always come out on top in head-to-head matchups and were considered favorites not only of the qualifiers, but of the tournament itself. Now they will face the winner of the Nigma Galaxy vs Virtus Pro series in a match for another slot at the event.

Over the past couple of months, MOUZ have shown mixed results, combining strong tournament finishes with disappointing performances: second place at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, a championship title at PGL Wallachia Season 6 and only 13th place at the final tournament of 2025, DreamLeague Season 27.

The DreamLeague Season 28 qualifiers are scheduled to take place from 05.01.2026 to 11.01.2026. The main stage of the tournament will run from 16.02.2026 to 01.03.2026 in an online format, where 24 teams will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
