South Korean eSports player Doo Young DuBu Kim has joined the Blacklist International eSports club as the new Dota 2 squad coach. The announcement was made on the organization's social media accounts.

Prior to joining Blacklist International, Kim played for Bleed Esports as a player - he left the team in November 2023. This will not be DuBu first coaching experience: he has previously served as a mentor for Fnatic and CR4ZY.

Blacklist International is a multigaming organization from Southeast Asia, owned by Tier One Entertainment Inc. an agency that specializes in cybersports and video games. The club is best known for its performance in Garena Free Fire, Call of Duty: Mobile, and PUBG, and has also established itself as one of the best teams in the pro scene with Mobile: Legends: Bang Bang.

At the moment the Blacklist International roster is not staffed: the team has a vacant kerry position after the termination of cooperation with Mark Raven Fausto. The club should provide a replacement for the player in the near future, as on January 26 the team will start playing in the closed qualification at ESL One Birmingham 2024 for Southeast Asia.

Blacklist International current roster

  • Abed Azel Abed Yusop
  • Kim Gabbi Villafuerte
  • Timothy Tims Randrup
  • Carlo Carlo Manolo
  • Du Young DuBu Kim (Coach)

Earlier, the first open qualifiers for ESL One: Birmingham 2024 have concluded and some of the participants of the closed qualifiers have been determined. NAVI Junior successfully passed the open qualifiers and made their way into the closed qualifiers from Western Europe.
