Relics
Relics are Dota Plus customization elements that are slotted into a hero’s relics panel and track various in-game actions. They are unlocked using Shards, which are earned by playing matches, and come in two types:
- Battle Relics — track general gameplay stats such as kills, assists, wins, etc;
- Heroic Relics — track unique hero-specific actions like hitting abilities, ultimate kills, or interrupted teleports;
- The Battle Relic costs 1,600 Dota Plus shards, and the Heroic Relic costs 8,000. To purchase all 14 relics for a single character, you will need 48,000 shards.
The purpose of relics is to monitor and visually display a player's achievements with their favorite heroes. When a tracked action is completed, a special in-game pop-up appears next to the hero.
