Runa Team is a young esports team in Dota 2 from Eastern Europe, founded in April 2025.
The initial roster included the following players: shigetsu, Nicky`Cool, Alberkaaa, queezy, and Mary_y. It’s worth noting that all players were teamless at the time of the announcement.
In addition, Runa Team immediately received an invite to European Pro League 26, where they started with a map win against Team Lynx in the group stage.
On May 17, the team participated in the FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 Play-In qualifier for the main FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 tournament, but after losing in the lower bracket semifinal of the playoffs, they were eliminated from the competition. In June, Runa Team became the champion of CCT Season 2 Series 1. In August, shigetsu left the team.
In August, Runa Team became the champion of CIS Battle.
On August 20, Ilya Till the end Deriglazov and Maksym shigetsu Popadinets left Runa Team. Later, the team announced that carry Magomed Nesfeer Kurbanov officially became part of the roster.
In October, Runa Team became the champion of CCT Season 2 Series 5, defeating Team Tea 3:1 in the grand final.
In October, Runa Team took part in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where they failed to reach the playoffs and were eliminated during the group stage. At DreamLeague Season 27, Runa finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 3-3.
