Bio
John Teehee Linuel Abanto is a Filipino professional in Dota 2, actively participating in competitions since 2015.
He started his esports career in 2015 by joining TNC Predator and played as a support for two years. With this team, John won BTS Southeast Asia 3, finished second at the WCA2016 SEA Qualifiers, and reached the finals of SEA Dragon Battle Season 3. After the team's performance declined and they failed to qualify for The International 2016, Teehee left the team.
From 2017 to 2018, he attempted to achieve success with teams such as Geek Slate, Happy Feet, Entity, and TaskUs Titans. As part of Geek Slate, John won ProDotA Cup Southeast Asia 6 and ProDotA Cup Southeast Asia #8, but these were the only notable successes during those years. Later, he briefly played for Exclamation Mark and Lowkey, participating in the qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles 2020, where he failed to make it to the main stage.
In early 2021, Teehee joined ReckoninG-Esports, and then moved to UD Vessuwan, with which he won Royal Jelly Covenant: SEA and participated in the DPC regional league, finishing 7th due to poor performance. In the summer of 2022, he became part of XERXIA, playing in the qualifiers for ESL One Malaysia 2022 and The International 2022, participated in BTS Pro Series Season 13: Southeast Asia and other events, and also secured second place at DPC SEA 2023 Tour 2: Division II.
In March 2024, Teehee became a coach for Neon Esports. Together, they finished 2nd in the closed qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 1.
