Bio
Tobi is a professional gamer from Austria, who plays Dota 2 on the offlane. He is best known as the offlaner for ViKin.gg with his signature heroes Beastmaster and Mars. His most significant achievement to date is a "bronze medal" at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online for Europe and CIS.
It is known that Tobias's first professional team was the European team Rize Gaming, which included little-known players from Western and Eastern Europe. The team's achievements, if any, remain outside of open sources. Toby heard at a high level of pro Dota 2 in 2019 when he won the second open European qualifiers for The International 2019 with a stack of Six Eight Two, and then after failure in closed - won open qualifiers to the MDL Chengdu Major with Six Eight Three. The teams included zipzap, Wish-, and antoha, besides Tobi. However, they could not stay together and obtain sponsorship.
In late November 2019, Tobias joined the updated ViKin.gg roster alongside Shad, Aramis, Seleri, and TANNER, who was later replaced by BOOM. In 2020, the new year brought the team great results at Tier 2-3 level, including wins at Hot Price League Season 1, Winter Madness, Hot Price League Season 2, "silver" at StayHome Challenge, and a "bronze" at Red Bull Gaming World by Logitech G, earning them over $20k. This was followed by an invitation to a major tournament - ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online, where Tobi and the team surprised many by taking 3rd place, losing to OG and earning a prize of $25k.
The team's success at the Tier 3 level was cemented by impressive victories at SIGUL Pro League, SECTOR DOTA 2 Season 2, and WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 2, after which ViKin.gg finally moved up to the Tier 1-2 level. In February 2021, Tobi left ViKin.gg and played for various mixes for a while before joining Entity Gaming.
