Zeal is a Malaysian professional Dota 2 player who plays as an Offlaner.
Nicholas made his professional debut in 2017 as a member of Magic Flying Bears. In 2018, he joined the Dota Hero team, placing 3-4 at Malaysia Cyber Games 2018 and earning his first prize money. In 2019, his team reached ESL MY&SG Championship Season 1 and Destiny Cup Season 2 finals , won joinDOTA League Season 16 Asia and World Electronic Sports Games 2019 Malaysia Finals. In 2020, Zeal played for Team ENTs, winning first and second place at tournaments from Epulze. In 2021 with Namewee Studio, he competed in the DPC League Qualifiers without qualifying, won a silver medal at QH Sports Dota Series 1 for Team God, and placed in the top 3 at LPL Pro 2021 Season 3 and Season 4 with Team Quantic.
In November 2021, Zeal signed a contract with EHOME, with whom he finished fourth at the DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I and Regional Finals. In the next two seasons, the team played solidly in Division I, finishing in sixth place, and in September 2022 participated in The International 2022: China qualifiers, finishing in 9th-12th place. In December, Nicholas left EHOME and tagged Drinking Water to play in the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division II. In January 2023, the team was signed by Myth Avenue Gaming, under whose tag they performed well in the first round of DPC and won the Golden Age tournament. In March 2023, Zeal returned to the Chinese region to play for PSG.LGD, where the team finished second at DPC CN 2023 Tour 2: Division I and received an invitation to ESL One Berlin Major 2023, where they placed 9-12. Zeal participated in qualifying for The International 2023 with Invictus Gaming, but failed to qualify for the tournament, finishing in 5th-6th place. In January 2024, he also participated in the qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2024 as part of 1换1, but there the squad failed to even make it to the closed qualification stage.
