Bio
Miposhka is a professional Dota 2 player who plays on the professional scene on CIS teams. He participated in The International in 2017 as a member of Team Empire and won The International 2021 as a member of Team Spirit.
Yaroslav made his debut in Yellow Submarine, where he gained experience for 10 months. During this period, the community remembered the team's victory in the open qualifiers for The International 2015, although the team failed to qualify in the closed qualifiers.
Miposhka played for PRIES and Enso teams for a few months, getting to know fn, Goblak and Barash. His best performances were in Click-Storm DOTA 2 League #1, where he took silver, and at the Go4Dota 2 September Finals, where the PRIES team became the champion.
Yaroslav's maneuvers ended when he moved to Team Empire Faith. As a support player on the 4th position, Miposhka started playing with promising compatriots RAMZES666 and Scandal, the latter of whom became the team captain. Over time, the players changed places, but Yaroslav managed to keep his place in the roster until 2019. During this time, Miposhka's skills as a support player only strengthened, and he finally formed a pool of signature heroes: Doom, Ogre Magi, and Mirana.
Team Empire consistently took prizes at major tier-1 and tier-2 tournaments. Miposhka won the famous Global Grand Masters and ROG MASTERS 2017 tournaments, while at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 the team managed to take only 5th-6th place. In August 2017, along with Ghostik, Chappie, RodjER and fn, Yaroslav made it to The International for the first time, where his team took 7th-8th place and won $640,000 in prize money. At the beginning of 2019, the organization ended the experiment with two squads, leaving only one. Thus, Miposhka and his teammates left the team.
From 2019 to 2020, Yaroslav played in Team Singularity and HellRaisers, showing himself worthily at the DOTA Summit 11 (3rd place) and Parimatch League Season 1 (2nd place) tournaments. At the end of the season, he returned to the club where he started his journey - Yellow Submarine, which was later signed by Team Spirit.
Team Spirit was able to make it to WePlay AniMajor, where they placed in the top 8. In the DPC 2021 professional season, TS was unable to earn enough points to qualify for The International 10 directly, but the team was able to qualify for the tournament through regional qualifiers, where they defeated Team Empire 3-2 in the grand finals.
Miposhka led Team Spirit's squad for The International 10. Although the group stage did not start well, the team unexpectedly made it through the bottom set of the main stage and eventually won the Aegis of Champions.
In 2023, under Yaroslav's leadership, the Spirits took first place at tournaments such as Riyadh Masters 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21, as well as became two-time champions of The International, taking first place at TI 12 with a 3-0 win over Gaimin Gladiators.
The next year didn't start off so well for Spirit. First, 6th place at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and 4th place at DreamLeague Season 22, DreamLeague Season 23 and 1WIN Series Spring, then 13th at Elite League 2024 and 10th at ESl One Birmingham 2024. However, the team managed to come together and show a great result at PGL Wallachia Season 1, taking 1st place there, defeating Xtreme Gaming in the final with a score of 3:2. However, in the summer, the team failed to handle Xtreme in the grand finals of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational. Spirit also finished 7th at Riyadh Masters 2024, unexpectedly losing to PSG Quest in the lower bracket of the playoffs, and won the 1win Series Summer.
Team Spirit finished 9-12 at The International 2024, losing to Xtreme Gaming in the lower bracket of the playoffs. Later Miposhka competed an updated roster at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, where he finished in 4th place. After that, Team Spirit participated in DreamLeague Season 24, taking the honorable 3rd place and was a finalist at the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall. At BLAST SLAM I, the collective failed, placing 9th-10th, and at ESL One Bangkok 2024 Spirit finished at 4th place.
In February, the updated team also performed at FISSURE PLAYGROUND, where they also took 4th place. In March, the updated roster secured its first victory at DreamLeague Season 25, defeating Tundra Esports with a score of 3-2. Later that month, the team placed in the top-4 at PGL Wallachia: Season 3. A little later, the team participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4 , where they lost in the second round of the lower bracket and finished in 6th place. In April, Team Spirit became a finalist of ESL One Raleigh 2025, where they lost to PARIVISION 1:3.
Later, at the end of April, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket playoffs and left the tournament, finishing in 5th-6th place.
In May 19, 2025, the team was scheduled to participate in DreamLeague Season 26 however they withdrew. A bit later, the team participated in BLAST SLAM III, finishing their run in the semifinals and placing 3rd-4th. In the summer, Spirit competed at PGL Wallachia Season 5 and finished in 4th place. In July, the team became a two-time champion of the Riyadh Masters tournament series as part of the Esports World Cup 2025, defeating Team Falcons in the grand final with a score of 3-0.
At FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, the team took 2nd place. At The International 2025, the two-time world champions suffered a sensational defeat. The Dragons failed to even reach the playoffs. The team lost to Team Falcons in an elimination match in the group stage.
On October 9, Miposhka left the main roster of Team Spirit.
