Player Saksa from from OG Dota 2
Bio
Saksa is a professional Dota 2 player from North Macedonia, famous for being the first to reach 8,000 MMR and playing mostly in the support position. Additionally, Martin is a silver medalist at The International 2016, and is the only Macedonian who has participated in the TI.
Saksa has been interested in computer games since he was three years old, and got his nickname in DotA. He decided to become a professional Dota 2 player while studying at university, when he saw his own progress. His first team was a team of Macedonian players called Global Challengers, with whom Martin played in the 2014-2015 season. His first significant achievement was winning the GIGABYTE Challenge #16 as part of Team Moriarty, earning more than $1,600 in prize money.
After reaching the 8,000 MMR mark, Saksa was signed by 4 Clover & Lepricon, where Pajkatt and EGM also played. The team managed to win Elimination Mode, finish third in DreamLeague Season 4, and second in Game Show Global eSports Cup Season 1, earning more than $90,000 in four months.
A few days before Valve closed rosters in 2016, Saksa joined Digital Chaos. The team managed to finish 9-12 at The Manila Major 2016 and fifth-sixth at Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2, The Summit 5, and StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2. Moreover, they managed to qualify for The International 2016, where despite being considered outsiders, they won several games and ultimately finished second, receiving almost $3.5 million.
After Digital Chaos disbanded, Saksa moved from team to team several times, such as Thunderbirds, Planet Odd, Mid or Feed, OpTic Gaming, and many others, regularly participating in Tier-1 tournaments. In the 2018-2019 season, Martin's constant team became Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he won the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019 and StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 2, as well as achieved good results at Majors. However, the team failed at The International 2019.
The fact that Saksa is an outstanding player was confirmed by two facts: in 2020 he reached 10,000 MMR and joined OG, after which he went inactive, and then returned to Tundra Esports.
