Player Fly from from Nouns Dota 2
Bio
Fly is a professional Dota 2 player from Israel, known as the captain and support player of the team Evil Geniuses. He is also known by his nickname Simbaaa. He was a former player of Heroes of Newerth and one of the co-founders of OG. He was the first player to win four Valve tournaments. With EG, he took third place at The International 2019.
Switching from HoN to Dota 2, Fly joined a new roster of Fnatic in March 2012 with N0tail and Era. H4nn1 and Trixi completed the lineup. The European team immediately showed good results placing second at Starladder Season 5 and The Defense 3, earning a direct invitation to The International 2013. At the main tournament of the year, Fnatic did not exceed expectations and took 7-8th place, which was not a failure. However, the next The International showed that the team had problems as Fnatic's "golden" lineup completely fell apart. N0tail and Fly moved to a new organization Team Secret, but departed four months later.
In 2015, Fly played in The International as part of compLexity Gaming and finished in 9-12th place. In August of the same year, he and N0tail reunited to create (monkey) Business. They quickly showed results, taking first place in the European qualifiers for The Frankfurt Major 2015. After that, the team changed their name to OG and won the first Major of the season in November 2015. In the spring of 2016, OG was among the favorites and took first place in the Manila Major. The audience predicted that the team would take high places at The International 2016, but OG unexpectedly lost two games against MVP Phoenix and TNC Predator, only finishing 9-12th.
In 2017, OG's updated lineup with ana and JerAx entered The International 2017 as the main favorite, but stumbled in the middle of the tournament and took only 7-8th place. The beginning of 2018 was the most difficult for OG in terms of lack of results at tournaments. In May, Fly and s4 left OG and joined Evil Geniuses. Both teams had to play open qualifiers for The International 2018. In the semifinals, Fly and N0tail met and the European team won, knocking EG out of the tournament. At The International 2019, EG only took 5-6th place, leading to a roster change. However, the newly updated EG took second place in DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major, and regularly won American offline tournaments.
