Nouns disbanded its Dota 2 roster
The Nouns Esports organization has disbanded its Dota 2 roster and announced its withdrawal from the discipline. The information was posted on the club's official Twitter account.
Representatives noted that this difficult decision was not related to the team's results. The organization also stated that they are ready to return to the competitive scene if a right sponsor is found.
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce we will be stepping back from Dota 2. The last two and a half years have been an incredible journey, together we established our legacy of representing North America on the biggest stages in Dota 2. Our love for this game remains strong, and with the right partner, we are open to a future return to the scene, aiming once more to be North America’s finest
Nouns entered Dota 2 in May 2022. During this time, the club participated in tournaments such as DreamLeague Season 19, The International 2023, Bali Major 2023 and others.
This year, the North American team competed at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, PGL Wallachia: Season #1, Elite League 2024, PGL Wallachia: Season #2 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. Nouns also qualified for Riyadh Masters 2024 and TI13, where they placed 18th and 9th, respectively. Their last tournament was DreamLeague Season 24, where they were eliminated early on.
