Bio
Damien kpii Sau-jing Chok is an Australian professional Dota 2 player who plays at the third position.
kpii 's career began in May 2013 when he joined the AkmA mix from Southeast Asia. His first significant tournament successes came in late 2014 with Can't Say Wips, who finished second at Defense of the Australian Spring 2014, one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments in the Southeast Asian region at the time.
In February 2015, kpii moved to MVP Phoenix, with whom he reached 7th-8th place at The International 2015. After that, he was invited to EHOME.KEEN, where he faced difficulties in qualifying for major tournaments.
In March 2016, kpii became part of Newbee, winners of The International 2014. As part of this team, he achieved high results: 3rd place at The Manila Major 2016, 1st at Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2 and ESL One Genting 2018, and 2nd place at The International 2017. After The International 2018, where Newbee had a disappointing performance, kpii joined Mineski. With them, he qualified for The International 2019, placing 9th-12th.
Damien then moved to TNC Predator, where he tasted victories again, taking first place at ESL One Hamburg 2019 and MDL Chengdu Major. With the introduction of the new DPC system in 2021, Chok joined Team SMG, advancing to the first division of the regional championship. In September of the same year, he received an invitation to Talon Esports, which recently launched its Dota 2 division. Under the leadership of Tal Fly Aizik, the team failed to succeed, after which the roster was reorganized around kpii, which allowed to pass to the top division and qualify for the PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022, where the team ended up in 13-14th place. That same year, Talon Esports was able to qualify for The International 2022, but the team finished 17th-18th at the main part of the tournament, failing to make it out of the group stage.
In the summer of 2023, Damien joined Blacklist International, with which he participated in Bali Major 2023, where he again failed to make it out of the group, finishing 13-14th. The team also tried qualifying for The International 2023, but finished 2nd place there.
In early 2024, kpii became part of the newly formed Leviatan roster. Leviatan debuted in the open playoffs of DreamLeague Season 23 and placed in the top 8, but failed to qualify for the closed round. The team then had a successful run in the PGL Wallachia Season 1 playoffs in the South American region, earning an easy victory and qualifying for the closed stage of the tournament
