The invited teams for The International 2025 have been announced

Valve has revealed the list of teams that have received direct invites to The International 2025. The information was published on the official Dota 2 website.

Eight teams received invitations: BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, PARIVISION, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Falcons, Tundra Esports and All Gamers Global, whose roster includes former TideBound players.

The International 2025 will take place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 in Hamburg, Germany. A total of 16 teams will compete in the championship. The remaining eight will be determined by regional qualifiers for six regions.

Open qualifiers will take place from 31.05.2025 to 03.06.2025 (with the exception of China, where they will last from 02.06.2025 to 05.06.2025). Closed qualifiers will take place from 04.06.2025 to 17.06.2025. In Western Europe and Southeast Asia teams will compete for two slots at the championchip, while in other regions they will battle for one.
