Valve has published the distribution of slots by region for the 2022/2023 DPC season. The proportion remained the same as last season, so teams from Western Europe and China will have the largest representation at the Majors.

Allocation of slots for Majors:

  • Western Europe: 4 teams;
  • Eastern Europe: 3 teams;
  • China: 4 teams;
  • Southeast Asia: 3 teams;
  • North America: 2 teams;
  • South America: 2 teams.

It should be noted that the Dota 2 developers made slight changes to the Dota Pro Circuit format, shortening the duration of the regional tour from six to three weeks.

As reported by CyberScore, following the conclusion of The International 2022, which resulted in a victory for Tundra Esports, several organizations have changed their rosters. First, Thunder Awaken disbanded their roster, and then Evil Geniuses and T1 followed their footsteps.
