Tournaments

Tundra Esports defeated Team Secret in The International 2022 Grand Final with a score of 3-0 to claim the Aegis of Champions, the physical trophy awarded for winning the main tournament in Dota 2 world. In addition, the Western European team earned almost $8.5 million in prize money.

Tundra almost flawlessly passed TI11 without losing a single series. Jingjun ‘Sneyking‘ Wu and company got five victories and drew four matches in the group stage, and in the playoffs they were beaten only one map – in the final of the upper bracket against Secret.

For the coach of the winning team, Curtis ‘Aui_2000’ Lin, this is the second championship of his career. He won his first Aegis of Champions back in 2015 as a member of Evil Geniuses. He is the first person to win the major tournament of the year both as a player and as a coach.

As CyberScore reported, Dota 2 developers delighted fans of the game with free rewards in honor of The International 2022. You can read more about how you can get prizes here.
