The updated Heroic roster has been eliminated from BLAST SLAM VI
In the second Playoff match of BLAST SLAM VI, Heroic lost to Team Yandex 1:3 and were eliminated from the tournament, finishing in 5-6th place and earning $50,000 in prize money.
The first map ended in a confident win for Heroic. The team picked signature carry Meepo for Yuma Yuma Langlet, and the game ended after a fight near the Roshan pit. Notably, Yandex typed GG while they still had a Tier 2 tower standing and several heroes had buybacks available.
On the following maps, Heroic failed to regain the initiative and lost three games in a row. On the second and fourth maps, Peruvian midlaner Santiago TaiLung Olivos picked Enigma in the mid lane, which only made the game more difficult for the team.
It is worth noting that Team Yandex are playing this tournament with a stand-in, as Evgeny Noticed Ignatenko is missing the Playoff stage due to visa issues, and the team is being assisted by Abdimаlik Malik Sailau.
Heroic, in turn, rebuilt their roster a month ago, signing a young midlaner and moving Adrian Wisper Cespedes Dobles to the offlane position, where he had previously played.
