BLAST SLAM VI: format, schedule, results, and tournament bracket
BLAST SLAM VI is a Dota 2 championship that will take place from 03.02.2025 to 15.02.2025 in Malta, where 12 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
The tournament will begin with a group stage, which will take place from 03.02.2025 to 07.02.2025 online. Teams will compete in a Round Robin system in Bo1 matches. The top two teams will advance to the playoff semifinals. Teams ranked 3rd to 8th will advance to the play-in stage, where they will compete for a spot in the main stage. The rest will advance to the last chance playoff, where the decisive match for a spot in the play-in stage will take place.
The BLAST SLAM VI playoffs will take place from 13.02.2025 to 15.02.2025. The playoff bracket is single-elimination with Bo5 matches.

In the grand final, Team Liquid confidently defeated Natus Vincere 3:1 to become the tournament champions, earning $400,000 in prize money. NaVi finished second and received $200,000.
It is worth noting that at subsequent BLAST tournaments, the organizers decided to return to the traditional BO3 format in the playoff stage.

Day 1
The first day ended with rather unpredictable results: some of the main outsiders — OG, Natus Vincere, and Xtreme Gaming — found themselves among the group leaders. Team Falcons defeated Heroic and REKONIX, but unexpectedly lost to GamerLegion and NAVI. Team Spirit and other favorites, represented by Team Yandex and MOUZ, finished the first day with a score of 1:2, while Heroic and REKONIX occupied the last places.
Day 2
Tundra Esports knocked OG off the top spot, winning all four of today's matches. Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, and Xtreme Gaming also continue to hold their leading positions, while Team Falcons and Team Spirit are falling further and further down the standings. REKONIX has lost its chance to advance directly to the playoffs and will continue its journey in the last chance round.
Day 3
Natus Vincere and OG earned their spots in the playoff semifinals. GamerLegion, Heroic, MOUZ, and REKONIX will continue to fight for a spot in the main stage in the last chance round, while the remaining teams have advanced to the play-in stage.
Day 4
Following the results of the last chance round, Heroic and GamerLegion earned spots in the play-in stage, where they will face Tundra Esports and Team Liquid, while REKONIX and MOUZ are the first to be eliminated from the tournament. An unexpected result was MOUZ's second defeat by GamerLegion. The team was considered one of the tournament favorites, while GamerLegion was the main underdog.
Day 5
In the first two matches of the Play-in stage, Team Yandex defeated Team Spirit 2:0, while Team Falcons left no chance for Xtreme Gaming and also closed the series 2:0.
As a result, Yandex and Falcons advanced to the playoffs, while Spirit and Xtreme finished the tournament in 7th-10th place.
Tomorrow, the final matches of the first stage await us, and after a short break, the playoff stage will begin.
Day 6
In the final two Play-in matches, Heroic defeated Tundra Esports 2:0, ending their championship streak in the BLAST tournament series, while Team Liquid left no chance for GamerLegion and also closed the series with a 2:0 score.
As a result, Heroic and Liquid became the last teams to qualify for the playoff stage and after a short break, six teams will battle for the tournament championship title.
Day 7
On the first day of the Playoff stage of the tournament, Team Liquid defeated Team Falcons with a 3:2 score, while Team Yandex overcame the Peruvian team Heroic. The losing teams were eliminated from the tournament, finishing in 5-6th places.
It is worth noting that all matches of this stage are played in a BO5 format, and the event itself is held in a studio arena in Malta.
Day 8
In the first match of the penultimate day, Team Liquid confidently defeated OG with a 3:0 score and became the first grand finalists.
The second match was played between Team Yandex and Natus Vincere, where the teams went through all five maps to determine the winner. As a result, NaVi emerged victorious and will face Liquid tomorrow for the tournament title.
