Team Yandex became PGL Wallachia Season 9 champions

In the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 9, Team Yandex defeated Natus Vincere 3:0 to become the tournament champions. The team earned $300,000 from the prize pool for first place, while NaVi received $175,000.

On the first map, one of the key factors behind the victory was the Phantom Lancer pick, which the opponent was unable to counter effectively. Carry Alimzhan watson Islambekov finished the game with a 10/1/4 score.

The second game proved significantly more difficult. Despite the Ukrainian team's gold lead, which reached 15,000 at one point, Yandex won several important fights and completely erased the deficit, putting itself one map away from the championship.

The final map lasted just 25 minutes and began with complete domination by the eventual champions in the lanes. Ammar ATF Al-Assaf played Huskar in the offlane and forced the opposing carry into the jungle early in the game.

Notably, the opposing midlaner Artem Niku Bachkur had previously set a professional-scene record for the most consecutive wins on the hero.

For ATF, this was his first tournament with Team Yandex following his recent move from Team Falcons. The offlaner's debut with his new team ended with a championship title.

In the post-match interview, the Jordanian spoke about his desire to defeat all of his former teammates. He has already faced most of them at this tournament, with only Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak and Andreas Cr1t- Franck Nielsen remaining on his list, both of whom are currently without a team.

I want to win tournament after tournament and beat all of my former teammates, while breaking our record for the longest time playing together as one roster, which we had in Falcons.
