Team Secret announce suspension of Dota operations

The esports organization Team Secret has officially announced that the team has been moved to inactive status and will temporarily step away from the professional scene, while keeping the option to return in the future. The information was published on the club’s social media.

Many of you have been asking about the status of our Dota 2 roster. We remain interested in promising projects, but for now we are being cautious about returning to the scene. Thank you for all the support, and we hope to see you again later.

Team Secret have competed in Dota 2 since 2014, and over that time the organization has consistently placed at the top of major tournaments, including third place at The International 2021, second place at The International 2022, a championship at The Shanghai Major 2016, and more. Over 11 years of existence, the organization has earned more than $18,000,000 in prize money.

The team’s latest roster disbanded in early July following unsuccessful performances in the qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2025 and The International 2025.

It is also worth noting that one of the tag’s founders, Clement Puppey Ivanov, is currently the head coach of PARIVISION and does not plan to return to forming new rosters at this time.
