Team Liquid become 1WIN Essence II champions with just one series loss

In the 1WIN Essence II Grand Final, Team Liquid defeated Team Falcons 3:0 to become the tournament champions. For the victory, the team earned $100,000 from the prize pool, while Falcons received $50,000 for finishing second.

The opening two games went entirely in Liquid's favor, with the team securing comfortable wins despite allowing Oliver skiter Lepko to play Lone Druid.

However, the third game was a different story the team failed to establish an early advantage, largely due to an offlane Necrophos, who dictated the pace for the Falcons. By the 40-minute mark, Michal Nisha Jankowski team trailed by nearly 14,000 gold. Nevertheless, after several successful teamfights, they completed the comeback, erased the entire deficit, and closed out the series.

Notably, the two teams had already met in the upper bracket final, where Team Falcons emerged victorious. That defeat remained Team Liquid's only series loss of the tournament.

This tournament was the final event before The International 2026, which begins on 13.08.2026.
