Team Liquid have advanced to the grand final of BLAST SLAM VI

In the first match of the penultimate day of BLAST SLAM VI, Team Liquid confidently defeated OG 3-0 and became the first team to secure a spot in the grand final, where they will face the winner of the series between Team Yandex and Natus Vincere.

The first map was extremely one-sided. A clean execution of a simple and meta draft resulted in a 20:8 kill score in Liquid’s favor, and the game lasted just 24 minutes.

On the second map, Liquid repeated the draft with which they defeated Team Falcons yesterday in the decisive fifth game: carry Dragon Knight, Void Spirit, Largo on the offlane, Tusk, and Jakiro. Many analysts jokingly call it a championship draft.

The final map turned into a real spectacle and lasted over 85 minutes. Both teams destroyed all of their opponent’s barracks and secured mega creeps, meaning a single mistake could decide the outcome. Despite OG recovering from a 30,000 gold deficit, Liquid managed to destroy the enemy Ancient in several decisive pushes.

In a post-match interview, Liquid carry Mike miCKe Vu and support Samuel Boxi Svahn shared their thoughts after the final map:

miCKe: Throughout the game it felt like I was just farming creeps, but the match was very tense. Boxi and I have already won 1,000 maps together, and I hope we win another 1,000.

Boxi: I was just dying in the same spot all game and telling the team to initiate. As for the record, miCKe and I have been playing against each other since we were 12, and we’ve been teammates since we were 15, so we know each other very well. I think we’ll play against NaVi in the final simply because Yandex are playing with a stand-in.

It is worth noting that after this match, miCKe and Boxi became the first players in the world to win 1,000 maps while playing in the same teams.

BLAST SLAM VI will take place from 03.02.2026 to 15.02.2026. The main stage of the tournament will take place from 13.02.2026 to 15.02.2026 in Malta. Twelve teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can follow the tournament in detail in the report.
