Team Falcons will play in the qualifiers for the first time in two years — the team did not receive invitations to upcoming tournaments from ESL

Team Falcons midlaner Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak announced that the team will participate in closed qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2026 and DreamLeague Season 28. The squad did not receive direct invitations to the championships, as it did not make it into the top 6 in DreamLeague Season 27.

The clubs that took 1st to 6th place in the online championship were invited to the competition: Team Yandex, Team Spirit, PARIVISION, Xtreme Gaming, OG, and Tundra Esports. The remaining slots will be decided in the qualifiers.

The last time Team Falcons competed in qualifiers was in the first months of its existence, in January 2024. The roster started its journey in Tier 1 tournaments with great confidence, winning most championships or finishing in the top 3 at least, after which the team always received direct invitations to all major events. Also, BetBoom Team and Team Liquid will play in the ESL Pro Tour qualifiers for the first time in a long time.

Western and Eastern European Closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 28 will take place from 09.01.2026 to 11.01.2026. For ESL One Birmingham 2026, the European qualifiers will take place from 16.01.2026 to 20.01.2026.
