Rumor: SoNNeikO may join Team Yandex

Esports organization Team Yandex may be making changes to its Dota 2 roster. According to insider reports, the club is considering replacing Alexey Solo Berezin with Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev.

Sources claim that the team has already started practicing with Butaev. At the moment, he is officially listed as inactive on AVULUS, where he was moved in late April 2025. There is no confirmation of negotiations between the clubs yet, and Team Yandex representatives have not commented on the situation.

Solo left Team Yandex in August 2025. Under the tag previously known as Cyber Goose, he played for about two months: together with the team he qualified for Riyadh Masters 2025, where they finished in 11th place, and also competed at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 and Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi.
