Team Spirit analyst shares rumors about The International 2025 prize pool growth
Team Spirit’s Dota 2 analyst Denis sikle Lerman revealed in his personal Telegram channel that there may be changes in how the revenue from The International 2025 Compendium will be distributed. According to him, Valve might increase the share allocated to the championship’s prize pool.
According to rumors: instead of 25%, 30% of Compendium sales will go to the prize pool (which will be released next week, since it’s the weekend now). End date: September 24
Lerman also noted that the content of the Compendium itself will play an important role.
Another interesting point is that the Compendium’s content also affects the prize pool. It’s unclear what exactly it will include, but it’s expected to feature team bundles: autographs, stickers, voice lines, and so on
The International 2025 will take place on September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany, with 16 participating teams. The starting prize pool of the event is $1,600,000.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that Malr1ne had named the favorites for The International 2025.
