MOUZ became the champions of PGL Wallachia Season 6

The grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 6 took place between Team Spirit and MOUZ. Spirit reached the decisive series through the upper bracket, without losing a single match and finishing the group stage undefeated. MOUZ also started in the upper bracket but lost to PARIVISION in the opening round and dropped to the lower bracket, where they defeated four opponents in a row to reach the final.

Earlier at BLAST SLAM IV, it was MOUZ who eliminated Team Spirit, winning the playoff quarterfinal with a 2:1 score. Now the teams met again, but this time in the match for the championship title.

The first map began with a confident advantage for MOUZ, which they held almost until the 40th minute, when Spirit turned the game around after a fight near Roshan and took the lead in the series. On the second map, MOUZ picked MidOne his signature Leshrac, on which he had almost no losses during the tournament. He played Leshrac mid nine times, winning seven of those, and this match was no exception.

On the third map, MidOne stood out again - his Shadow Fiend crushed his lane opponent. The game ended by the 40th minute, and the midlaner finished with 10 kills and only 2 deaths. Meanwhile, Spirit’s midlaner Denis Larl Sigitev, playing Queen of Pain, recorded 5 kills and 4 deaths. MOUZ went up 2:1, one step away from the title.

We suggest watching the final fight of the third map and the incredible save by Daniil yamich Lazebnyi on Tusk.

On the fourth map, Spirit decided to “steal” Abaddon, a hero on which Crystallis is considered one of the strongest players. He had played the hero three times in the tournament and won twice. The move worked, and the "Dragons" took control from the very first minutes. MOUZ couldn’t withstand the pressure, and the fate of the championship moved to game five. It’s worth noting that by that moment, MOUZ had already played a full BO3 in the lower bracket, making it their eighth game of the day.

The fifth map became a test of endurance. Despite a weak start from Crystallis on Monkey King, he still contributed, finishing with 1 kill and 23 assists. The key factor was the offlaner Miroslav BOOM Biсan, who showcased an excellent Timbersaw performance, dominating his lane and then the entire map. His final stats: 12 kills, 16 assists, and only 2 deaths.

As a result, MOUZ became the champions of PGL Wallachia Season 6, completing a run from closed qualifiers all the way to the trophy, while Team Spirit finished in second place.

It’s worth noting that this is the team’s first Tier-1 championship in the last 12 years. Their previous major title came in 2013 at the RaidCall EMS One Summer Season. For Zheng MidOne Ye Nai, the victory is also significant: the last time he lifted a trophy was in 2019 at the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major as part of the legendary Team Secret roster alongside Nisha and Puppey.
