Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov said that he does not consider his team to be the favorite at The International 2025. He pointed out that Denis larl Sigitov has not played Dota 2 for a long time and has only just started training.

"My friends, we're playing with a stand-in, and we're the favorites? That's just ridiculous, it's really ridiculous. Just like at The International — it's just ridiculous. Think about it, Denis [larl] hasn't played Dota in a month, he hasn't played at all, he hasn't even opened it. We're going to train for four days and fly to TI. What the hell are we favorites? It’s going to be an obvious uphill battle. Other teams have been training since the 10th, all the teams. And we're going to play for four days and fly to TI."

The International 2025 will take place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 in Hamburg, Germany, with 16 teams participating. The starting prize pool for the event is $1,600,000.
