The manager of 9Pandas revealed what the future holds for the team
Manager of 9Pandas Dota 2 team Aldar Jamba Jambinov spoke about the future of the team, after the failed performance and departure from ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Also Aldar told about the roster formation for this tournament and shared his plans for the future of 9Pandas.
In the group stage, 9Pandas lost almost all the games and could not win even against the clear outsiders of the tournament. When asked what the team will do next, Aldar said that after a short rest the team will reconvene and finally sign a roster, this time for the full 2024 season. The team's next games will most likely be qualifications for DreamLeague and ESL One Birmingham 2024.
Also, Jamba reported that after The International 2023 9Pandas received an invitation to the closed qualifications of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. It was the organization that received the invitation, not the five players led by Roman Ramzes666 Kushnaryov, and after checking with the organizers, the manager was told that he could announce any five players for the tournament.
The team has three options. The first scenario is to offer to play qualification to RAMZES666 and kiyotaka, so that the guys would invite three more players. The second option - to try to create a roster together with Antares, because Solo was on vacation at that moment and the third scenario is to refuse to qualify, but if you don't qualify, you will have to play all the next ones starting from open quals.
I'll be honest: I was well aware that even with a test roster it would be very difficult to qualify, because there were two obvious teams - the favorites - Virtus.pro and BetBoom Team.
After that, the organization still decided that RAMZES666 and kiyotaka and register for qualifying. And although the team was able to pass the qualifiers, they performed unsatisfactorily at the main event. Earlier, it was 9Pandas who received personalized gifts from ESL.
