Heroic and Xtreme Gaming left ESL One Birmingham 2024 defeated by their opponents in the lower bracket of the playoffs.
Throughout the tournament, Heroic showed good results. However, the meeting against Team Liquid proved to be fatal. On the first map Team Liquid defeated their opponent in 35 minutes. The second map was relatively even, but after a few mistakes from Liquid, Heroic managed to build up a significant advantage and keep the map for themselves. But on the decisive third map the situation was completely opposite. Thus, Heroic goes home, and Team Liquid will face Team Falcons in the quarterfinals. The match ended with a score of 2-1.

As a result of the match Invictus Gaming will meet OG on April 27, and Xtreme Gaming, which was considered one of the top favorites, left the competition. The series ended with a score of 2-1.
