Flipster becomes title sponsor of Talon Esports’ Dota 2 roster
Cryptocurrency exchange Flipster has entered the esports scene by signing a partnership with Talon Esports — from now on, the team will compete under the name Flipster Talon.
The agreement is valid for one year and applies exclusively to the Dota 2 roster. Flipster has obtained naming rights and becomes the team’s official crypto partner. This marks the company’s first step into the esports market, aiming to merge Web3 culture with the gaming industry.
The partnership includes the creation of joint content, marketing campaigns, and digital fan activations to bring the crypto and gaming communities closer together. A series of announcements is expected, including player signings, co-branded materials, and a launch video in June.

According to Flipster representatives, the platform seeks to make crypto trading more accessible and understandable, based on the values of inclusivity, openness, and creativity — just like modern esports.
Talon Esports is one of Asia’s leading esports organizations, active in 10 competitive titles including Dota 2, League of Legends, and Valorant. However, the Dota 2 roster is not yet complete, as John Natsumi Vargas recently left the team.
