The autumn season of Quartero's Curios has started in Dota 2: what rewards are available
The autumn season of Quartero's Curios has started in Dota 2, allowing players to once again earn free cosmetic items by playing matches. The event will run until December 4, 2026.
This time, the developers added new sets for Clockwerk, Windranger, and Treant Protector. Rewards are unlocked gradually as players increase their event level. To make progress, players need to play matches in Dota 2.
Clockwerk received the Chronoforge Shogun set, with its parts unlocking at levels 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8. The Hartwarden set for Windranger is available at levels 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18, while items from the Wraithwood Revenant set for Treant Protector can be obtained at levels 21, 24, 27, and 30. The last set also has a second style, which can only be fully assembled after reaching level 100.
Quartero's Curiosities also remain part of the event. The first "Extra Super-Duper Special Antique" can be obtained at level five. Possible rewards include previously released Immortal and Arcana items.
In addition to cosmetic items, players can unlock seasonal in-game effects by increasing their level. The developers also added a Quartero's Curios history section, where players can switch between the current and previous seasons of the event.
The autumn Dota Plus season also began alongside Quartero's Curios and will end on December 4.
Following the release of the update, ranked matchmaking also experienced an issue. For a short period, Immortal Draft was used in all ranked matches. Under this system, the two highest-ranked players become captains and take turns selecting players for their teams.
Under normal conditions, Immortal Draft is used in matches where at least one player has a rating above 8,500 MMR. Approximately 30 minutes after the issue appeared, the developers fixed the bug and matchmaking returned to its normal format.
