FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2: Closed Qualifier Results

On October 1, the closed qualifiers for FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 came to an end. As a result, five more participants of the main stage of the tournament were determined.

In the European region, the main roster of Virtus.pro went through the upper bracket to the final and defeated Avulus 2:1, securing a slot at the main tournament.

Avulus had another chance in the lower bracket but failed to overcome the renewed MOUZ roster, featuring Crystallis and MidOne. Interestingly, it was Avulus who had previously knocked the “mice” down to the lower bracket in the upper bracket semifinal.

In the CIS region, Runa Team confidently defeated all opponents and qualified for the tournament without losing a single map in the closed qualifiers.

In the Southeast Asia and China qualifier, Yakutou Brothers took first place by defeating Flipster Talon in the final. It is worth noting that the Chinese team had previously qualified for BLAST Slam IV and DreamLeague Season 27. Recently, the roster also underwent changes with zeal and poloson joining the squad. Special mention goes to midlaner Zhou Emo Yi, who continues to deliver excellent and consistent performances match after match.

The last qualifier concluded in the Americas, where many new teams competed. Despite the participation of OG and Wildcard, the final saw Perrito Panzon face TaiLung Mafia. The match ended 3:1 in favor of Perrito Panzon. Recall that last season, Perrito Panzon qualified for DreamLeague Season 26, but competed in the championship under the tag OG.LATAM.

Earlier, the organizers of FISSURE PLAYGROUND sent invitations to nine teams, with two more to be announced later. At the moment, the only representative from the Chinese region is Yakutou Brothers, but since Xtreme Gaming recently unveiled an updated roster, it is quite possible that they will receive a direct invite to the tournament. You can check the list of invited teams here.

FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 will take place from 24.10.2025 to 02.11.2025 in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The total prize pool of the event is $1,000,000, to be contested by 16 teams.

Earlier, CyberScore reported on the results of the closed qualifiers for BLAST Slam IV.
