PARIVISION make roster changes ahead of Esports World Cup 2026: all tournament substitutions
The organizers of Esports World Cup 2026 have published the official team rosters for the tournament. Several teams registered substitute players and made coaching changes, likely due to visa-related issues caused by the event being held in Paris rather than Saudi Arabia.
PARIVISION will travel to Paris with Tobias Tobi Buchner as a substitute player. If necessary, he will be able to replace one of the starting lineup members. Since Tobi is a position five support player, it is likely that Andrey Dukalis Kuropatkin encountered visa-related issues.
Another change took place in Xtreme Gaming. The Chinese organization registered Wei Maps Yitian as its head coach, replacing Zhang xiao8 Ning, who had been working with the team for more than a year.
Notably, Maps had already served as the team's coach during DreamLeague Season 29. Despite rumors that xiao8 had left the organization, the roster later competed with him at BLAST SLAM VII.
There was also a coaching change in Team Spirit. The Esports World Cup 2025 champions registered Yaroslav Miposhka Naidenov as their head coach after he had recently returned to the organization as an assistant coach. Milan MiLAN Kozomara previously held the position.
L1GA Team also made a roster change for the tournament. Bakyt Zayac Emilzhanov will stand in for Oleg sayuw Kalenbet, who will miss the championship due to health issues.
